    About Mineralanalytik

A brief introduction to our company history

    1995

    The beginning

    Starting a nice hobby...

    2014

    Establishment of Mineralanalytik

The foundation of Mineralanalytik was done during my master’s degree in physics at the Goethe University in Frankfurt:

Business registration and successfully completed bachelor thesis in the crystallography department. Topic of the work: Single crystal structure solution of samsonite and peterandresenite (anharmonic refinement of the displacement tensor)

    2015

    Building up the laboratory

Our first important tool for SEM-EDS analysis: LEO 1455VP electron microscope with scintillation Robinson and 4 quadrant KE BSE detector:

    P - XRD Rigaku Miniflex Gen. 6

Compact Bragg Brentano diffractometer for qualitative phase analysis. In 2022 the 0D SC-60 was replaced by a 1D D/tex Line detector..

    2017

    Upgrade SEM

In 2017 we replaced our LEO1455VP SEM by a Hitachi S3700N SEM with VP mode. The Hitachi is a real working horse and has never let us down.

    2018

    Horiba Raman Spectrometer

Equipped with several laser modules for Raman spectroscopy: Above all, the high working speed compared to X-ray methods make this technique an important technique in addition to SEM-EDS analysis:

    2020

    SC-XRD Oxford XCalibur

Natural samples are often simply not found more often or are too small for Bragg-Brentano diffractometry with para focal optics: In 2020 we were able to acquire an Oxford single crystal diffractometer and since then we have been offering microdiffraction and measurement of single crystals of only a few µm size.

    Keyence VHX 7000

The Keyence VHX-7000 is a real workhorse and offers high image quality at an enormous working speed: The device is a milestone in the development of Keyence's digital microscope series.keyence_Kopie.jpg
